Spain

Venga! Bienvenido Amigos! The Internship and Living Abroad Program (ILAP) in Seville, Spain lasts six weeks and is concurrent with the first summer session at Texas A&M. Located in Southwestern Spain in the province of Andalucia, the city of Sevilla is a land of many cultures. Over the centuries, the southwest of Spain was a trading center for many civilizations including the Tartessians, Romans, and the Moors. Sevilla is an ideal location for students who wish to learn the Spanish language and experience the rich culture of Andalucia, including the arts of flamenco and bull fighting.
The program strives to place students in internships that match their academic and career goals. Students intern in a variety of companies or corporations, government agencies, and museums where they learn about their prospective career paths.
ILAP Spain participants stay with host families during the program where they spend time getting to know their host families and learning about the Spanish culture.
Some of the possible excursions provided during the trip may include exploring Lagos, Portugal and Granada.
