Details of the Greece Leadership Program
Purpose and Mission
The Greece Leadership Program is an interdisciplinary international
program that will send ten Texas A&M students of sophomore classification
to the country of Greece to enhance their leadership talents and skills.
The program provides students an opportunity to experience Greece's contemporary
and historical culture, gain valuable friendships, develop communication skills,
gain confidence and be further encouraged to study, research or intern abroad.
Program Description:
The MSC L.T. Jordan Institute shall arrange for and partially fund the following:
- Cross-cultural orientation to customs, society, and government of Greece during
the spring semester of each year, prior to participants' departure.

- Ground transportation to and from all scheduled locations.
- A Texas A&M University staff and/or faculty member throughout the trip.
- Group activities and leadership seminars upon arrival in the country.
- Air transportation to and from Greece.
Funding and Costs:
Partial funding for the program is derived from proceeds of
the Leland T. and Jessie W. Jordan Endowment for the MSC L.T.
Jordan Institute for International Awareness. This funding
includes the above stated items but does not cover the total
cost of the program. Therefore, students will be
responsible for paying $3,200.
Incidental expenses not covered by the fee may include,
but are not limited to:
- all personal needs;
- any required travel documents and/or preventative medical care needed prior to departure;
